What are Feather Extensions?
Feather extensions are Rooster Feathers that have been washed and dyed.
What kind of dye is used on the feathers?
We sell FeatherHead Feathers which are dyed with an organic, mineral based dye. Because the dye is natural they may fade over time and very occasionally may bleed onto lighter feathers.
How long will my Feather extension last?
They will last up to 4 months once installed depending on how you care for the extension. The extension will need maintenance as your hair grows out. However, extensions are 100% reusable and can be used over and over again!
What kind of care does my extension need?
You can wash, brush, blow dry, straighten and curl your extension (up to 450 degrees) just as you would your own hair. Remember to be gentle when brushing the root. Once the extension is installed it is your responsibility. The feathers may break, just like real hair, if not cared for properly.
